The two side tanks include a fuel pump which kicks in when the low-fuel light comes on, emptying the side tanks into the main tank. Not sure how the under seat tank works yet. With all three tanks, the total fuel capacity is raised to 41 liters.

It's actually fairly matched with the Ducati when riding fast and will walk away from the GSA 1200, VFR and Tenere if it has the room to stretch its legs. It also doesn't feel as wide as a GSA when you are on it and its a bit shorter as well. To top it off, there is a really good Triumph dealer about 40 miles away.
